Residential Revit As-Built Floor Plans 1870s Heritage Home, Toronto

REVIT As-Built Package

DESIGN, PERMIT SUPPORT & CONSTRUCTION GRADE

This Revit As-Built project documents a 7,800 SF heritage home in Toronto dating to the 1870s, undergoing comprehensive interior and exterior renovations across four floors. The client required a fully coordinated 3D Revit model and design-grade existing conditions drawings to support detailed renovation planning, heritage compliance, and construction coordination.

Creative Angle's Engineering Technologists completed a full LiDAR scan of the property in a single visit, capturing precise measurements across all floors, elevations, and roof structures. The complete package was delivered in RVT and PDF formats, accompanied by exterior elevation drawings, roof plans, a full iGUIDE 3D virtual walkthrough, and tagged building equipment photos.

Heritage properties present some of the most complex as-built challenges in Toronto — irregular geometry, non-standard wall assemblies, structural modifications spanning 150 years, and little to no reliable documentation. A Revit as-built model gives architects and heritage consultants a fully coordinated, parametric base to work from, significantly reducing the risk of costly surprises during construction.

WHO IS THIS
PACKAGE FOR?

The Revit As-Built is the right choice when your project requires a parametric 3D model for detailed design development, BIM coordination, or heritage documentation. It is particularly well suited to architects and heritage consultants working on complex residential renovations in Toronto and the GTA, where the full 3D spatial relationships between floors, structure, and building systems need to be accurately modelled before design work begins.

Compared to a CAD as-built, the Revit model allows your team to generate additional views, sections, and schedules directly from the model — reducing rework and improving coordination across the project team.

CAD VS REVIT -
WHICH DO YOU NEED?

If your project requires permit support, renovation planning, or contractor coordination and a 2D DWG file is sufficient, the CAD As-Built is the more cost-effective choice. If your architect or project team works in BIM and needs a fully coordinated 3D model, the Revit As-Built is the right investment. Not sure? Request a free consultation and we'll recommend the best package for your project.
