As-Built Package
Plus Reflected Fire Safety Equipment
DESIGN, PERMIT SUPPORT & CONSTRUCTION GRADE
This As-Built project documents a 23,000 SF church in Toronto, combining design-grade existing conditions drawings with a comprehensive reflected fire safety equipment plan — updating the building's as-built floor plans and fully documenting all fire safety systems throughout the property.
Creative Angle's Engineering Technologists completed a full LiDAR scan and detailed site survey in a single visit, capturing precise measurements of all architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements across the building. Fire safety equipment was located, identified, photographed, and tagged throughout the property, with all equipment documented on reflected fire safety plans drawn in AutoCAD and delivered in DWG and PDF formats — alongside a full iGUIDE 3D virtual walkthrough with tagged fire safety equipment photos for the building management team.
Assembly occupancy buildings such as churches, community centres, schools, and event venues in Toronto and the GTA are subject to strict fire safety requirements under the Ontario Fire Code and Ontario Building Code. Accurate, up-to-date fire safety plans are a compliance requirement for building owners and property managers — and are essential for fire safety inspections, insurance documentation, emergency planning, and any renovation or change of use that affects the building's fire protection systems.

WHAT ARE REFLECTED FIRE SAFETY EQUIPMENT PLANS?
Reflected fire safety equipment plans are floor plan drawings that document the location of all fire protection and life safety equipment within a building. They show the precise location of every fire panel, pull station, smoke and heat detector, CO detector, fire extinguisher, emergency light, and emergency exit throughout the property.
Under the Ontario Fire Code, building owners and property managers are required to maintain accurate fire safety plans for their properties. These plans must be kept current, submitted to the local fire department, and made available to fire inspectors on request. For buildings undergoing renovation, change of use, or occupancy changes, updated fire safety plans are a mandatory component of the permit and inspection process.
Creative Angle's fire safety equipment plans are produced by Engineering Technologists with experience across a wide range of commercial, institutional, and assembly occupancy buildings in Toronto and the GTA — delivering accurate, code-compliant documentation in AutoCAD DWG and PDF formats.
